January 14, 2013 - A few Windows 8 users have reported problems with installing FlySource. There are no plans to update FlySource to support Windows 8 yet.
March 19, 2011 - Wow, a year has gone by since my last news update. I haven't worked on anything FlySource related for a long time. Priorities change, and unfortunately FlySource has been bumped to the bottom of the list. However, I did look at the version 2.0 source code the other day and I feel an urge to get back into to programming mode. If I make any progress, I'll update the status here and on the FlySource Development Blog.
March 18, 2011 - I'm going to be pushing out FlySource version 1.10 soon to ease the pain of the port forwarding issues that many FlySource users are seeing. The new version will check if are able to share your fly patterns with other people. If not, you will still be able to sign in and download from other users. No timeline on the this, but I'll try to get it soon.
February 27, 2011 - Looked through the FlySource server log file this morning... Was pleasantly surprised to see so many people logging in and transferring fly patterns. Over 300 have been transferred within the last day! I see many people couldn't sign in too because of incorrect firewall configuration. If you haven't been able to sign in, please read the help page.
I have set up a FlySource Google Group. Please sign up and help spread the word! If you're having problems with the app or just want to share information, this is the place to do it.
February 26, 2011 - The FlySource sharing server is now up and running again. You can sign in using any id and password.
Those people who are able to connect, please leave FlySource running for a while to help promote sharing. Leaving it running and connected 24x7 would be great and very helpful to other users.
Many people don't have their home network configured for port forwarding properly. See the FlySource Help page for more information especially if you're getting a message saying you are behind a firewall that is not configured for file sharing...
